The St. Charles Municipal Band, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation established to preserve the cultural heritage and performance of American Band Music by providing free concerts and entertainment in the St. Charles Community, while providing musicians the opportunity to continue playing their instruments and enjoy the experience of performing before live audiences.

The band is organized as a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization under the current IRS code.
